Unless you have the cash to do it all at once, you should plan on buying items off the list as you can afford them.

Since the list is prioritized, you can just go down the list and check off things as you buy them.

If you set up a weekly, or monthly plan, you’ll know in advance what you want to buy.

Don’t fall into the trap of being all excited right now, buying a bunch of stuff, swearing to yourself that you’ll get the rest later, then pick up another hobby and never buy anything else.

Make a plan and stick to it. Set aside $25, $50, $100, $250, or more, every month and buy that much from the list.

Put the list where you can see it every day, so you’re aware of what you have and what you need.

Try not to obsess over this stuff, but don’t forget about it either.

Keep preparing and you’ll be ready for most emergencies that might happen to you.

Be a survivor.
