How To Survive A Gun Fight

The key to surviving a gun fight is to lean into it and move.

A lot of people tend to lean back when shooting a handgun. Don’t.

Leaning forward gives you better control over the gun when it’s fired and the recoil is pushing it back at you, with that whole muzzle flip going on.

Having never been in a gun fight, I can only imagine that it’s hard to think in the middle of it, much less remember proper technique.

Try to remember to “lean forward and move”.

Remember: a gunfight is a fight with a gun; not a simple test of marksmanship.

When it comes to self-defense, you’ve got to lean into it. Even if you’re moving away from it.

By all means, practice shooting off-balance.

But make leaning forwards your default stance.
