Debra Beebe, 46, middle school principal from Auburn, Ala.

“The potty thing is freaking me out,” says the self-described adventure seeker, who left the comfort of her eight bedroom home to rough it. “Digging a hole and going Big Bathroom in the middle of nowhere…having to wipe with your hands…Is my body going to shut down because I can’t do it?”

A self-described people person, Debra Beebe is a middle school principal and married mom from Auburn, Alabama who believes that her natural leadership abilities and tactful problem-solving skills will contribute to her success as a castaway on SURVIVOR. Debra, also known as “Bubbles,” feels that her enthusiastic and energetic personality, in addition to her take-charge attitude, will erase any doubts about her ability to succeed in this game.

The fact that she is one of the older castaways will not be a hindrance for this woman who previously trained alongside Olympic athletes and still rises every morning at 4:30AM to get in her daily workout before tackling a day filled with hundreds of pubescent teens, pre-teens, parents, faculty and staff. Not one to be intimidated (even at a tiny 5’2”), Debra juggles work, her husband and her children. It’s no surprise that this go-getter won “Alabama’s Principal of the Year” award yet still finds occasional free time for shopping and dancing.

Debra feels that her occupation has taught her how to deal with politics which she can apply to the group dynamics of her tribe. With her abilities as a natural leader combined with her bossy and competitive nature, Debra plans to focus on the weaknesses of others in an effort to get them eliminated.

Debra is married with five children and currently resides in Auburn, Ala. Her birthday is September 28.

    Mrs.Bebe was my principal last year. I can just see her in her heels lol. She has a very prissy side but when it comes down to it Mrs. Bebe fights her way to the top. She was my favorite principal and she is an all around loving person. It so cool to see my principal on t.v. She’s the best and were all cheering you on just like you always cheered us on. Good luck Mrs. Bebe your the best!

    MRS.BEBE IS MY PRINCIPAL THIS YEAR.ITS SOOOO COOL TO SEE HER ON T.V. ITS REAL COOL ALSO THAT WE HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AND I JUST WANT TO LET HER KNOW THAT ALL OF DRAKE WILL BE CHEERING HER ON AND WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE A PRINCIPAL LIKE HER.

    OMG! Mrs. Beebe is my principal this year, and I LOVE her! She is so cool, funky, and sweet, and to see her on Survivor is the most amazing thing ever!! The whole school is going to be cheering her on and voting for her!! GO MRS. BEEBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Mrs. Beebe is wonderful. Not only is she a cheerleader for the kids at Drake M.S., she was a cheerleader for me as I worked toward my college degree. She is such a good role model. When we moved here (we’re a military family) she gave my children the attention and help they needed to make the transition from one school to the other. But, don’t count her out because she is “older”. She is a force to be reckoned with. As we say here in the “Lovliest Village on the Plains” GIVE EM HELL and WAR EAGLE!!!!!!!
