Shana Cobb, of Harrisburg, was hoping her bright orange hair and larger-than-life personality would help her reach whatever desert island or jungle the next group of Survivors will be stranded in.

More than 100 people hoping to outwit, outlast and outplay the competition on the long-running CBS reality series “Survivor” lined up for auditions at the Colonial Park Mall this morning.

Fans of the show were so eager to audition, producers from CBS 21, who sponsored the casting call, started a half hour early.

Shana Cobb, of Harrisburg, was hoping her bright orange hair and larger-than-life personality would help her reach whatever desert island or jungle the next group of Survivors will be stranded in.

Cobb, who was busy forming alliances with those in line behind her, said she was willing to do whatever it took to win the contest — even if that meant eating bugs.

“I would ask if I could kill it first, but for a million dollars, I would kill it with my mouth,” she said with a laugh.
