Battling the elements and real-life opponents is another, as professional gamer Ken Hoang is about to learn. Hoang is one of 18 castaways chosen for the next edition of the CBS show “Survivor.”
Hoang is known in the gaming community as “the King of Smash,” because he’s the current international champion of Nintendo’s “Super Smash Brother Melee.” He uses his tournament winnings to support his family.
Hoang says his strength in “Survivor” will be his opponents’ assumption that he’s physically weak and not good at playing mind games.
“Survivor” premieres September 25th.
